MUET

Today is the last day for MUET. However, I was playing computer last night because I don’t think language exam should be study but practice. My mom kept nag about my laziness. She scolded me that I didn’t do any preparation for MUET, and yet, it’s true.

This morning, I was still quite lazy to do preparation. Trying to read the sample essays for the Writing Section A, but still ended up with doing nothing.

Reading test is the first for today. Although this is MUET, English exam, but the teacher still did the announcements in Malay. For the reading test, I found that it’s quite difficult for me, even more difficult than previous exams. So, for the reading test, I think I only can get a maximum Band 3 because I can’t answer well and felt too sleepy. Yes, the bad consequent of sleep late yesterday.

The next was writing test. I spent about 25 minutes for the Section A which supposes to be adequate for the Section B since the suggestion time used is 40 minutes. However, I still faced the problem on time. Wasting too much time on figuring out the main points for the Section B, causing me just started to write the second point when there was left 30 minutes for answering the question. In the last 5 minutes, I struggled to finish the last point and quickly jumped into conclusion. Will I get a high mark for this? I don’t think so. Most probably I still get a maximum Band 3 for the writing test.

Finally, the last test was listening test which is always my weakness. I have most serious problem on listening test always, most of the times I didn’t get half of the questions correct. At first, the CD player showed no problem but it started to “love dubstep” so much, kept repeating certain pronounce nonstop. The teacher said that we have to wait until the others finished their listening test so that we can use the better CD player. However, the teacher tried again with the CD player. Luckily, the CD player functioned well again.

Although most probably I will not taking MUET again, this is blog post about MUET, so I decided to write this in English. That’s all for this blog post. Bye~
