Mirrors

最近突然爱上Justin Timberlake的这首歌——《Mirrors》。歌词里面谈的是什么，我一点也听不懂。不过，就是喜欢他的唱法和歌曲旋律，歌词已经是其次的了（展延阅读：《一首歌？》）。

Mirrors reflect the light. You can see your reflected image in the mirror. However, does the image inside the mirror is you? I saw a boy inside the mirror, he looked sorrowful, full of tiredness. Was the boy is me? I was confused. Was the boy has another sad story, eager to share it with others? I looked at the mirror, the boy appeared again.

“Who are you?” I asked him softly.

He didn’t reply me, just stared at me, like the way I stared at him.

“Why are you looked so sad?” I asked again, but this time, I felt my eyes were going to occupied by tears.

He looked like he is going to cry loudly. I stopped him. Tears were rolling down from his eyes. I cried, because I knew what the story behind him is.

He felt himself is different from others. He felt nobody is really cares about him, except his family. He felt his beloved country is getting worse and worse, but he don’t think that he is capable to make the changes to his country. He felt he is a little bit useless, don’t have lots of knowledge to change his life. He felt that he is the black sheep of the family, and the wastrel that created tons of problems and troubles to others.

“I know what you thinking,” I said, “You intend to commit suicide. This won’t solve any problem. Furthermore, your family will cry over your death.”

Again, I cried. Wasn’t letting the crying voice to awake others, I don’t hope to.

So, mirror, you aren’t me, I am not you. You are just a thing that able to reflect well. But, is that true? Before I left, I saw he was sobbing, crying out loud, without making any sound. Mirror, does reflect the light, but not sound.
